For me, abstract art allows for a great freedom of expression both in the creation and experience of the work for the artist and the viewer. My paintings are not an attempt to represent an accurate depiction of a visual reality. For each piece, I use colors, textures, forms and gestural marks to achieve an essential feeling, quality, and tone. I encourage viewers to find their own meaning in my paintings. From the undefinable to the more immediate, I hope my work moves, inspires and activates you heart, mind, and soul.
