Upon returning to California after many years of living back East, I saw its scenic beauty with fresh eyes. I have a tried to capture a sense of a dreamlike emotional connection to my surroundings. As I reconnect with California, I feel a special joy in my heart when I am among the plants, rocks, coastline, mountains, and desert.
